Since 1957, Covinor has been a key player in the processing and packaging of vinegars, dressings, sauces, Dijon mustards, and more.

Among the leading vinegar producers in France, Covinor offers its products in 90% of food retail distribution and now exports to more than 50 countries across the 5 continents.

Since its origins, Covinor has been producing spirit vinegars as well as a wide range of gourmet vinegars (red wine vinegar, white wine vinegar, etc.).

Covinor continually invests in new equipment capable of meeting its customers’ demands in both quality and volume:

  • Oak foudres cellar for vinegar aging.
  • State-of-the-art acetators for vinegar production up to 20% acidity.
  • 220L oak barrels for premium vinegars (Orléans method).
  • Ultra-high-performance, next-generation packaging lines:
    • – Metal detectors.
    • – Cleaning and filling of packaging.
    • – Finished product packaging adapted to all formats and materials from 250 ml to 10 kg.
    • – Industrial use: 200L drums, 1,000L containers and 25,000L tankers.

Covinor has appointed an Environmental Manager and is making significant investments in this area:

  • High-capacity vinegar neutralization station.
  • Wastewater treatment plant compliant with the latest environmental standards.
  • Large-scale implementation of waste treatment and recovery.
  • Ultra-high-performance cleaning and disinfection system.
  • Filtration: a membrane system ensures optimal filtration efficiency and minimal waste.
  • Closed-loop refrigeration system to minimize water consumption.

Wide and diverse product ranges.

Covinor manufactures a wide range of emulsified vinaigrettes, two-phase dressings, and salad dressings, including the highly successful Caesar dressing.

Covinor also produces Dijon and traditional mustard in a state-of-the-art facility, using authentic recipes, and exports these products worldwide.

Finally, Covinor has produced spirit vinegars and a long list of gourmet vinegars since its inception.
